Welcome! My name is Amanda Gough. I am a Charlottesville based artist and more importantly the dog mom to a Great Dane named Annie who has been solely responsible for my happiness for the last 10 years. Traditionally a figurative artist, I have spent most of my artistic career thus far focused on the human form, however, last year I was faced with the possibility that I would lose my best friend. I naturally processed my emotions like most creatives do, through my craft. I began to memorialize Annie onto canvas and found immense joy through being able to create a tangible memory. I feel beyond blessed that Annie is still with me today, but the drive for creating those memories never left. My goal is to be able to give others that same joy. 

Annie wouldn't be here if it weren't for the incredible team at Woodworth Animal Hospital that cared for her and I will never be able to show my gratitude. I was blessed with the ability to cover the cost of treatment, but the fear and anxiety of the financial burden was a very real concern. I couldn't imagine losing her due to overwhelming costs. Therefore, 10% off all proceeds are transferred to a fund to help cover life saving treatment for families and pets in need.
